Description
Elections are held in the Palestinian Authority to exercise the Palestinians’right to self-determination in relation to their right to establishtheir own state, but they are subject to military occupation. It isrestricted by the Oslo Accords, which means that the authority of thePalestinian National Authority was (and is) limited to matters suchas culture, education, identity cards, and the distribution of land andwater according to Oslo.In light of this talk, no elections have taken place since 2005 for theauthority of President Mahmoud Abbas and 2007 for the Hamas legislativeauthority.Thus, all electoral processes that are the right of Palestinian youthhave been closed since these two dates, and no young man or womanparticipated in this process until our arrival for this year 2020.

We have retained these digital images directly from Mariam Salah. These works have all been destroyed in the ongoing genocide in Gaza, circa 2023-2026. We are still actively investigating and will be adding additional information during our discovery and findings through out the life span of this archived preserved art work from Mariam Salah.
